This week i finished G.I. Joe - the Rise of Cobra. Me and a friend played it from time to time when he was over and all-in-all it took us about four months to finish it. The game is quite lenghty with about 25 missions ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. It's a third person shoot'm-up where you choose two characters from the GI Joe toyline and take on an entire army of enemy troops. You do this in different environments such as the Arctic, the jungle and the dessert, unlocking new characters along the way. The graphics are really bad regardless of what system you are playing on. What kept us coming back was the Co-op mode. Some time ago i tried to play "Donkey Kong Country Returns" in Co-op mode and it was way to hard. "The Rise of Cobra" was the exact opposite; it was extremely easy. We were playing on casual difficulty, you can crank it up if you like, and you just couldn't die. We were just pressing down the trigger button and running and gunning through the levels.
So, if you are looking for a game to play co-op and you like GI Joe, this might be the brainless action you are looking for.
