Don't trust Erik Wolpaw, this game is amazing.
In GITS: SAC, you play as Motoko Kusanagi and Batou.
The graphics are pretty amazing, they are just beautiful.
GITS gameplay is pretty great. There is an option to make the camera go reverse, it's pretty great considering some people play different, like me ^.^
Ghost in the shell is a very hard game, you die pretty fast and the puzzles make you die often.
But thats nothing, you have infinite continues and it's real fast, not like other games that load so long to continue from death.
The first gun you get is a machine gun of some sort. You continue on to killing some cyborgs, and doing some pretty cool but annoying platform jumping.
The aiming is pretty good, but it takes a while to get used to it. Motoko can jump very far by pressing R1, and she can also jump normally pressing R2.
Motoko has some pretty good close quarter combat techniques. The game would suck if she didn't. She can run up to somebody or get behind someone and when you press the combat button, she attacks the enemy.
Pretty simple, huh?
Motoko dies pretty easily, such as 1 hit kill from snipers in the first level....
The voice of the characters is awesome, except the Tachikomas...... they are annoying.
Ghost In The Shell Stand alone Complex is a very hard game, but it is extremely fun and I reccomend it to any fan of GITS or shooter games.
