In Gears 2 we follow Delta squad as the war continues with the locust blah blah blah. Now the campaign was very fun and gives you everything you wanted and more. From fighting off massive creatures to chainsawing some grubs will leave you satisfied. Drop in drop out co op is now available as well which is nice, though the new cartoony they gave this Gears game I didn't like very much.

Unfortunately the competive multiplayer is far from fun, in fact it will leave you breaking your controller with frustration. Host is still a major flaw causing stupid bullet lag and connection issues are still somehow a problem. For example ; I played a game where my gun would shoot blanks. The one good thing I can say about the multiplayer is stopping power and introduction of some new weapons like the flamethrower and mortar, but the fact that Epic nerfed the gnasher completely takes away from all this.

Horde mode is really the only redeeming feature in this game, and correct me if I'm wrong but Gears was one of the first to introduce this mode.

All in all, honestly Gears 2 is the worst of the 3 that there is to offer.

NOTE* the movement in multiplayer just feels clunky and really laggy which makes the multiplayer experience feel broken.
