Looks like GSC was trying to end a brilliant franchise by making a very sub-par and hurried game with Call of Pripyat.
I was so excited when I first heard about this game, a sequel to SHOC...hmm wonder how that would play out, one word how that played out...dry. The storyline in this game (although fairly decently explained and there was... Read Full Review

In places brilliant but for a lot of the time, dull to the point of tedium
In many ways this is a great game - strong story and hugely atmospheric, with gritty quasi-realistic action. Oh and its really pretty bug free, which is a first for this series On the downside - the voice acting and ... Read Full Review

Best in series, no doubt. Fixed gameplay. All around STALKER fun.
With the first two games being fun but dissappointingly bugged and just messy, I had very low expectations for this game. I can easily say I was suprised. With this is mind, I will not only review but somewhat comepare.... Read Full Review

Amazing game, however some minor flaws.
As a veteran of the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, I had high expectations for this game, and i'm glad to say, it lives up to all of them. This game is amazing, not just for the magnificent range of scenery and missions, to... Read Full Review

Loved the original Stalker, Shadow over Chernobyl, for it's uniquely eerie yet beautiful atmosphere, semi-freeform nature, brutal realism re weapons and combat, together with an intriguing story. Yet there were some nega... Read Full Review

Slow start, but amazing when it picks up
This game is perfect for anyone who wants a more FPS based Fallout 3. The gun play is very well polished and the atmosphere really sucks you in. The weather cycle and lighting provides a rich experience throughout the ga... Read Full Review

Horrifying yet enticing adventure that will compel you to keep playing.
I'll to try to be as unbiased as I can, but I must admit - I am a huge fan of the Stalker series. I have played each game in order of release, and minus a few bumps in the row, it has been a gratifying experience - trul... Read Full Review

Very immersive, great exploration, numerous missions to complete. Just an amazing game.
Stalker Call of Pripyat is bottom line, a great game. Stalker like the previous games, puts you right into an open world to explore, take missions, gain respect among certain groups, and much more. The graphics are not t... Read Full Review
