This game proves better than almost any game that Namco's made that they know how to make a damn good fighter.
Well, I've just purchased a PS2. I got one so that I could play all the great games that I've missed over the years because I owned a Gamecube, that's not to say I didn't enjoy what games I had. I had Super Mario Sunshin... Read Full Review

Soul Calibur 2 is a deep and accessible fighter that will entertain for months to come.
(+) hard hitting, satisfying, and strategic combat system; great character models and lush environments; dude, Link's in it! (-) weapon master mode can be frustrating; some of the characters are off balanced; the game... Read Full Review

Soul Calibur II is the sequel to Soul Calibur. You could probably say that the original Soul Calibur revolutionized the the genre and set a new standard for it. You couldn't say that about this one but you're not gonna f... Read Full Review

The greatest fighter of all time!
This will probably be the last and only time I will ever use the phrase "The greatest " " of all time," because games are subject to change and eventually, like all technology, be deemed obsolete. However, I can't think ... Read Full Review

The Bean and Cheese Burrito of fighting games.
Up to this point, fighting games were simple. You had your block, attack, and direction buttons that let you use all your different moves and block incoming enemy attempts on your health bar. Soul Calibur 2 changed all t... Read Full Review

If you like fighting games this is a game for you!
This is an excellent video game. The only thing I don't like is that there is one different character on every system. Heihachi on PS2, Spawn on Xbox and Link on Gamecube. I really wish that Link was in the PS2 one! ... Read Full Review
