Shingen the Ruler Cheats For NES

1. Get 10 Free Lancers

   Go to the merchant and tap select 10 times, the screen should blink twice to confirm. You will recieve 10 free lancers.

2. Sound Test

   On controller 1, hold A + B (US version) or Select + Start (Japanese version) and Power on or Reset the console. Release the buttons and on controller 2, hold A + B + Right. The soundtest will appear after the HOT-B logo.

3. Max Everything

   At the game menu, select "Mi", then "Enlist", select 1 and highlight "No". Now, on controller 2, hold Down + A and press A on controller 1. You should hear a faint sound confirming the entry. Now, while still holding the buttons on controller 2, hold at the same time Up + B + Start on controller 1. Release the controller 2 buttons and the word "Which" will appear. Release the controller 1 buttons and the numbers "01" will appear. The numbers are the same numbers of the countries in the game. Just select 01 to start with the default country and everything maximized.

4. 100 Gold Mines (Japanese Version)

   At the game menu, pick the second option from the second row. Then select the 1st option, choose 0000 and highlight "Yes" (first option). On controller 2, hold Left-Down + B and on controller 1, press A. If done right, the gold mines counter will increase to 100.

5. Climate Disasters Don't Affect You

   At the game menu, select "Sv" and highlight "No". Now, on controller 2, hold Up-Right + A and press A on controller 1. If done right, you'll be able to move your troops and call the merchant even during snowstorms and typhoons.

6. Easter Egg

   When the word "END" is displayed on-screen after the end of the game, press and hold A + B + Select + Start on controller 1 and A + B on controller 2 at the same time.

7. View Ending and Game Over Screens

   Hold A + B (US version) or Select + Start (Japanese version), then reset the console. At the Hot-B logo, hold the following buttons until the logo disappears. (Note: Most NES controllers will not let you press Left + Right at the same time; you will need a specially-modified one.)
