1. Speed Select

   At the "Mode Select" screen, slowly press Right 8 times to cycle through the screens until you reach the "Versus" screen. Now, cycle through the screens again by slowly pressing Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, II. If done right, the "Special Config" mode will appear.

2. Watch Mode

   During a Versus match, pause the game and press I + II + Select. Unpause the game and the computer will take over the game.
