Final Fantasy VII Remake Cheats For PlayStation 4

  1. Unlimited items, Gil and Moogle Medals!

    Shinra boxes reappear after loading your game up. So put simply you can smash them, save your game after acquiring items from them, such as potions, phoenix downs, or Moogle medals! Then reload your game and smash them again... save-load rinse repeat!

    For example - places such as the "rest area" right before Air Buster boss fight in the sector 5 reactor with the bench and vending machine, the Shinra crates can be farmed in this way rather quickly allowing you to amass many items and medals for free!

  2. Flower combinations and floral arrangement results

    Picking up any combination that has at least one yellow flower, ends up with the chocobo pattern, any combination that has at least one white flower and no yellow flowers, results in moogle pattern, and the only way to get a cactuar pattern is to pick only foxtails (the green flowers).

  3. Legacy Limit Breaks

    During Chapter 14 (Chapter 9 for Aerith) you can enter the fighting tournament at the Colosseum to receive Legacy Limit Breaks in set rank matches for all the playable characters.

  5. Hard Mode

    In Hard Mode, all enemies are stronger, items cannot be used and MP is not restored at rest points (only HP will). The Shinra Battle Simulator in Chapter 16 and 17 will also get new challenges.

  6. Manuscripts For All Characters

    In Final Fantasy VII Remake, there is a collectible called Manuscripts that gives one of the four party members 10 SP that can be used to upgrade their weapons. In Classic, Normal and Medium difficulty, there is only three Manuscripts for each character to collect, but in Hard mode, there is a total of fourteen for each character. Each manuscript has a title that corresponds to that character:

    Cloud: The Art of Swordplay
    Tifa: Way of the Fist
    Barret: Sharpshooter's Companion
    Aerith: Telluric Scriptures

    Acquiring a Hard mode Manuscript will unlock Weapon Level 6 for that character, which will give them lots of new skills to unlock. Particularly the skill Reprieve; it will keep that character from dying with 1 HP once per battle, which will be very useful in Hard mode.
