Mediocre and not a worthy successor to DA:O
Been playing for a less than 6 hours, while it is not a terrible game, it lacks the depth of the first one. Graphics did not improve, combat feels like a console fighting game. Yes there is the ability to pause but comba... Read Full Review

As a sequel, this is garbage. Diablo 2 had a better character and class selection.
Many have already said what needs to have been said about Dragon Age 2. What you need to know is this game is a horrible sequel. It was clearly half-assed in its development, EA and BIOWARE knew the name would do most... Read Full Review

The first RPG with forced fast travel and yet the media love it!
What has Dragon Age got to do with RPG's? It has no exploration, just a thin black strip that you can travel along, despite the wonderful vista's on the horizon. Because it's not open world it cannot have more than a ... Read Full Review

"CONSOLIZED." Stripped-down, dumbed-down -- this barely qualifies as an RGP (in the traditional sense).
The original DA was itself considerably simplified from the great Bioware RGP Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. However, some of the greatness of those fantastic RPG's still remained and all in all, DA... Read Full Review

The Gamespot review got it bang on - a great game, but still a step back from DA:O.
I've been playing DA2 solidly since the midnight release yesterday, and i'm about 6-7 hours into the story so far. I figured i'd come on and share my initial impressions of the game, but after reading the Gamespot review... Read Full Review

Don't buy into the negativity. This game is a solid sequel to the original.
Bottom line: Don't buy into the negativity. This game is solid and offers a great jaunt through a new part of the expansive world that is Bioware's Dragon Age. First, the game's tactical combat remains fairly untouche... Read Full Review

Not the game everyone hoped for
Bioware has made some excellent games. Dragon Age:Origins was one of them. It wasn't the most memorable western-style RPG on the market, but it was an addictive, highly tactical experience. Dragon Age 2 feels like a shad... Read Full Review

All flashy visuals, all point-and-click combat, barely a "RPG".
The title of this mini-review said all that needs to be said, but I should add a few more words because of the minimum word limit on reviews. What can I say that you already don't know ? - This game is just a cash-... Read Full Review

Well , at last the game is out and I got it in the first day ( I was planning on this ;P ) . Who ever has tried the first games , knows that Dragon Age is a perfect , classic RPG . So being great for the second game isn'... Read Full Review

Doesn't worth the bucks.
If Dragon Age : Origins were like DA2, it would have been a flop. Intolerable bugs, like the save game import feature that corrupt your game and your choices (so, what's the point ?) or low detail textures just to say t... Read Full Review
