About the nicest things I can really say about this game is that it is playable and it has an interesting premise.
I really had high hopes for this game. A third-person-shooter with platforming elements straight out of Prince of Persia set in a steam-punk wild west world seemed so awesome. But somewhere along the line, this game simp... Read Full Review

I was ashamed to have even spoken the words "this game is gonna be awesome"
I was very exited about this game since the first advertisement. I had recently found out about "steam-punk" and thought it could be a cool theme for a game. I told everyone i know about it and got really exited for its ... Read Full Review

The best terrible game I've ever played......
Damnation is an interesting concept that just did not have the time or money needed to bring it up to par with current gen games. Imagine smashing together Tomb raider and Gears of War and you basically get the idea beh... Read Full Review

Great potential left unused
It has been a long time since this setting got some attention. The more sad it is, that it seems so rough around the edges, and in between. The controls are really no fun. The aiming is a a pain, at the best times... Read Full Review

Overall: 1.0/10 No one should ever be tricked into spending $60 on this abysmal piece of work. A horrible game with horrible voice work, game play, characters, and story. Presentation: 2.0/10 Some one must have thou... Read Full Review

Has some good ideas but core implementation is weak and unpolished making the whole game a chore to play...
Pro: Steam punk. Deeper than average level design. Adventure themed level implementations. Bike wall climbing can be fun. ===================================== Con:Not enough weapons, enemies, ammo, items the first... Read Full Review

While the idea was a good one, the execution fails miserably. Poor controls and shoddy graphics mar what could have been
"Damnation", to put it very simply, is one, big mess. The idea of an alternate history steampunk type shooter (set in a world where the Civil War raged for forty years) was an intriguing one, and the promise of vertical ... Read Full Review

The game doesn't offer anything new or fun. It's just a quick mash-up of Gears of War and Prince of Persia.
The Game It had an interesting idea, which was realized horribly. The graphics were obviously 'stolen' from Gears of War, IMO. I'm not saying it looked bad, in fact, it was great, but the same bloom effect, covering the... Read Full Review
