For every stage you complete in Arranged Mode (there are 26 in all), you will unlock one illustration by Ayami Kojima, the artist for Akumajou Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku / Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and for Akumajou Dracula X68000 / Castlevania Chronicles.

  7. Date & Time Effects (PS1 Only)

The PS1 does not have an internal clock. However, you can set the date and time in the Extra Option Menu. At first glance, this doesn't seem to have any use. However, this can be used to see a couple of easter eggs. Towards the end of Level 21, you'll come across a huge painting that shows a field with some mountains. This painting will actually change seasons depending on the date you set. March - May is Spring, June - August is Summer, September - November is Autumn, and December - February is Winter. Also, the clock in the background of the Wolf Woman's boss fight will also be affected by whatever time you chose. Note that any date and time settings will be reset whenever you turn the game off.

  8. GM Sound Module Message (JP Version Only)

Go to the Sound Module Select screen and press L1 + O + X using the 2nd controller. This will bring up GM as the 4th entry on the sound module list, accompanied by a message in Japanese: "うっそびょーん!!" This basically translates to "just kidding," and was included because they weren't able to get the GM Sound Module finished by the time the game needed to be shipped. This message also appears in the Japanese versions of the PS3/PSTV re-releases.

    Effect
On Sound Module Select: press L1 + O + X using the 2nd controller. Displays GM Sound Module message.
