This game was the primary reason I had for saving up and buying myself a PlayStation. For horse enthusiasts, it is a must have. It may be nearly 10 years old now, but I still play it often. The ability to race and breed your own horses from the in game bloodlines is nice. The better you do in the races, the higher quality horses you can afford, and the better foals you end up with. Each horse is different, and has their own preferences and temperament. Some horses can race more than others, and as they age, they could become better or worse, depending on what age they reach their peak. You can customize somewhat the silks that you wear as a jockey, as well as the gear used on your horse when you race them. There are a great number of tracks and races to be had, and you can race your horse in different countries as well.
