Overwatch Halloween Terror 2019
Overwatch's Halloween Terror event is once again upon us, and that means a month full of spooky events and even spookier looks. 2019's event allows you to earn five new Legendary skins, three new Epic skins, and a load of new emotes, sprays, icons, and voice lines. You'll obtain a free loot box just for logging in.
As a bonus this year, you can earn the previously BlizzCon 2018 exclusive Demon Hunter Sombra skin by completing the third weekly challenge. That comes alongside the usual suite of Weekly challenges for limited-time rewards. Other skins include new beauts like Warlock Ashe, Gorgon Lucio, and Vampire Baptiste.
The kickoff of Halloween Terror comes not-coincidentally right next to the launch of the Nintendo Switch version, which will get new updates and content at the same time as other platforms. Switch players can jump right in to the Junkenstein's Revenge event and look forward to other seasonal events as they come.
Overwatch became embroiled in a controversy from another Blizzard property recently. After the company banned a professional Hearthstone player for speaking out about ongoing protests in Hong Kong, it received sharp criticism and calls for boycotts and other protests. Though the company partially reversed its punishment for the player, the temperature is still high on the controversy. That may have contributed to cancelling an Overwatch launch event planned for the Nintendo Store in New York City.
Check below for all the new skins from this year's event and plan your spookifying accordingly.
