EA Sports PGA Tour Preorders - Discounts Available, Early Access Starting Now, And More

EA Sports has finally made its return to the links with EA Sports PGA Tour. The rebranded sports sim technically has multiple release dates. The Deluxe edition grants early access starting tomorrow, April 4, while the standard edition launches this Friday, April 7. However, if you're an EA Play subscriber, which comes with all Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, you can start playing your 10-hour free trial a day early--as in right now. Golf fans will still want to purchase a copy of the game, though. Preorders are still available for both editions, and there's still a little time left to secure some neat preorder bonuses.

With 30 real-life courses rendered with stunning accuracy, an impressive lineup of PGA and LPGA stars, and a career mode that will feature all four Major championships, EA Sports PGA Tour certainly sounds like an exciting return to the course. It includes Shotlink and Trackman shot data, a bevy of shot types, and an RPG leveling system for your created golfer. It's safe to say that the game has far more content at launch than EA's last outing, Rory McIllroy PGA Tour, which replaced the iconic Tiger Woods moniker.

All preorders of EA Sports PGA Tour come with multiple bonuses: The Players Gear, The Grand Slam Gear Bundle, and a Scotty Cameron putter and headcover to use in the game.

The Players Gear celebrates the PGA Tour's "fifth Major," which takes place at TPC Sawgrass, one of the courses included in the game. You'll get a custom golf bag for your golfer and possibly other matching gear, too (only the bag has been revealed).

The Grand Slam Gear Bundle nets you items such as golf balls, shirts, and hats themed around the four Major championships.

The standard edition of EA Sports PGA Tour costs $70 and comes with the preorder bonuses listed above. It's available to order now at major retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy. PC users can preorder from Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA.

The Deluxe edition of EA Sports PGA Tour is available to preorder in digital format for $85. In addition to the trio of aforementioned bonuses, you'll also receive the following bonuses:

• Augusta National Amen Corner Geear
• Exclusive early access to Augusta National

You can preorder console editions from the Xbox and PlayStation Store. PC players can choose from Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA when preordering.

As mentioned, EA Sports PGA Tour is joining the EA Play lineup. All subscribers on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation can play a 10-hour trial starting today, April 3. EA Play members can save 10% on the price of the game as well, dropping the cost to $63 for the standard and $76.49 for the Deluxe.

If you're an EA Play Pro member ($15/month), you have full access to the Deluxe edition already, so you don't have to buy a copy separately. EA Play Pro might be worth it if you play multiple EA Sports sims and other new EA titles each year.
