Mixed Reactions: Excelent visual and story, but poor gameplay.

Galerians could have been a really good game. Have a nice story and beautiful graphics for PSX 1, but the flaws at gameplay destroy your hope...
Graphic and sound:
Beautiful FMV, and really good in-game graphics, are the strong point of the game. The sound fit well, but isnt brilliant.
Gameplay:
Here comes the bad news, the angerpoint system dont work... Its a pain in the *** to look for something, you have to options, walk (sloooowly) or run and lost angerpoint.
Another problem is that sometimes your main task is to run around "trying to figure out who you need to talk with next to advance"(Ironically, I quoted the review of Gamespot to Galerians 2, so the problem seems to remain...) what can be very monotonous.
Replay:
Once you finish, and so knew all the story, you probably wont want that much to play the game again.
Final words:
If you are into Survival Horror - but dont expect to be frightened like in Resident Evil because the horror here is more at the story than at the game - and is a patient gamer try this one.
