When the whole Summer in the Arcade thing happened this summer, out of all the games they listed, the one I looked forward to the most was this one, Galaga Legions. Of course, Geometry Wars 2 (My second most looked forward to) and Braid (I never even heard of it until Gamespot's review) completely annihilated all competition of what game is the best, but this game is also extremely fun (hanging out in the shadows of those two.) Like Ikaruga, this game is very hard, to the point where you get really frustrated. If you manage to get good at it though, you will enjoy it a lot, just like Ikaruga. There are points in the game where once you see how many enemies just appeared on the screen, you will say to yourself "HOLY CRAP!," and when you beat them, you will have the sense that you have accomplished everything. In summary, This fast paced Shoot 'Em Up is extremely fun, but also really hard. If you are the kind of person who thoroughly enjoyed Ikaruga, then get this game, for you will enjoy it to it's max capacity.
