The reason this game lives up to the 50 dollar price tag is online play. Think about it you can enjoy the fun of a party game at any time. Single player is alright but if you do not have live i wouldn't buy this game till the price tag dropped.

The announcer can be annoying but if you chatting online you have a blast making fun of him. And in single player you can skip him so no harm there.

In conclusion just cause theres a bad announcer you cannot rule out the fact that the mini games are fun and its one of the best games to play via live.
