EA's early days, when it was still good.

Sometimes even the simplest of games can be the most appealing.
Future Cop is a shining example of just that. Even 12 years after its release, its still as incredibly fun and entertaining as it was at the day of its release. The game-play is divided into two modes: The campaign mode and a strategy game mode.

The campaign mode is available for co-op and online play, featuring 10 levels of intense 3rd person shooting while piloting X1-Alpha, a mech designed to fight crime. A job that it does with incredible efficiency. The mech can also transform into a hovercraft that can move on water with speed and agility. The controls are quite intuitive and easy to use, as well as the game's HUD. Coupled by an awesome soundtrack and some hilarious cut scenes at the end of each mission. There is a large variety of weapons to choose from, all very effective and satisfying. But perhaps the place this game shines the most, is in the strategy game mode.

The strategy game is based on zone control and can be played online or vs a computer player. You can use your mech to capture turrets, or destroy enemy turrets, Capture more outposts and build stronger units to assist you, or blast the opposing team's mech or base defenses. Overall, both modes are incredibly fun and offer a lot of replay value. This game is a must have, and is definitely worth every penny.
