This game is a futuristic fps. If it came out before call of duty it would've been much better. Because it seems like a been there doe that type of game. It is. The game is still unique in its own way. The variety in classes and weapons are great. The campaign is fun and challenging and the online mode is amazing. One of the main parts of the game that makes i good is its sharp control. Usually in a fps shooter i change the controls so it will be better for me but for this game i never had too. Its controls were a mix of many shooters put together. One of the things that i thought were amazing were drones. It adds stealth to the normal run and gun fps shooter. You can pretty much stay in a safe spot and the u can control your drone for about 80-100 meters. A drone is a mini robot that u can control to do various things. There are a variety of drones and each one is used differently. The first drone you get to use (offline and online) is very basic. You fly it to a certain spot and then you blow it up and it kills everyone around it for a certain radius. This drone is used mainly for high places. There are also helicopter drones, anti vehicle drones and my favourite the mini tank. The mini tank is a small tank with a very powerful turret. This was a cool idea they put in which makes the game much ore enjoyable. The online mode is very fun. There are a variety of class's to chose form and all of them has its pros and cons. The most balanced out class is the assault class. Its the one I usually use. The other classes are heavy assault, anti vehicle, special ops sniper and close combat. There are also sub classes that go with your main class. There is ground support (fixing vehicles), air support (air attacks) drone (u get to use a drone) and emp(a electric blast that paralyzes a vehicle). By using your sub class u can upgrade it to get better things. For the drone class u get more variety of drones. Every time you die u get to change your class and sub class. Other than the online the campaign is very fun. It is very short but it is worth playing through. The main story is that the world ran out of oil and many countries are fighting for resources because there is low amounts now. It takes place in the near future in 2024. The campaign's story is pretty interesting but they could have done way more to make i better. They missions are very similar and sometimes repetitive. Sometimes the enemies become very intelligent and it gets very frustrating. But after a bit u know what strategy to use. Every time you die in campaign u get to change your class like in multiplayer but in most missions there isn't much variety for which class u can choose from. It doesn't really matter because for most of the campaign your going to use the assault class. Another thing they could have improved on is its achievements and trophies for the ps3 version. Most of the achievements are based on the campaign and there are about 5 achievements for multiplayer.
This game is very good. It is derivative but different at the same time. This is not a must play but it is worth playing.
