A game that does nothing completely wrong, too bad it doesn't do anything right either.

From a technical point of view, the graphics are outdated, from an aesthetic point of view they are a bland and boring portrayal of a sand coloured world.

Pretty much everything in the game is like the graphics. The gameplay is shallow, it does matter how you move your troops, but there is often little choice in this matter, and not much else to decide the outcome of a battle. There is no story in the game, the music is nothing special and there are few missions available (unlock more by grinding your way through the missions you have already played). The interface lacks polish, most notably selecting a mission has you scrolling around a big map where the missions appear as white marks. Even with little arrows pointing to far away missions this feature makes it surprisingly difficult to keep track of what missions you have played and where to go next, the game itself offers no hints.

Any of these flaws could be forgiven if only there was also something genuinely good about the game, but there isn't.
