If you are a fan of Age of Empires or Advance Wars, this game should be right up your alley. The thing that sets this game apart from the two other games is the customization of your units. Your machines can be tinkered around with, and you will find yourself doing this a great deal. I haven't quite finished the game yet, but I have almost 30 hours in gameplay on it. Any game I can spend that amount of time on and still be immersed in is a great game in my book.
It is different enough from other Turn-based strategy games that it should keep you occupied for some time. I haven't tried the duel/multiplayer stuff yet so I can't really judge that yet. So far it has been worth my time and money.
