Sean Connery in the game version , how can this go wrong ?
Graphics :
I can't complain about the graphics : the environnements look good , the character models look almost exactly like the actors from the movie and the graphics just have this 1960's feel that which is really functional in the game. So yeah the graphics are good.
Sound:
the music is acceptable , we have the classic james bond theme and some action and calming music which could be directly put into a Bond movie. It's not good , it's not bad , it's just average. The voice acting on the other side is very good, ofcourse we have Sean Connery as James Bond which was a really positive point about the voice acting. The other voice actors do a great job and really help the characters.
Gameplay:
The game is a 3rd person shooter like we know from other action games. The game let's you follow the story in a number of different levels. We have a train level , an ambassade level and just your other 3rd person shooter levels ,so we can say that there are few original levels in the game. The best level for me is the level in the gypsy camp which is very fun to do and well designed. But the shooting levels are enjoyable and sometimes quite fun , but there far to easy. Bond has a feature called the " Bond focus" which let's you zoom in on the opponents weak points. This function makes this game far to easy in my opinion. I've never had any trouble making it trough the game and that's a shame. I want a challenge in my games and FRWL just didn't had that. There are also jetpack sections in the game which are well done and what would James Bond be without his vehicles. The vehicles sections are just horrible , the cars don't control all that well and the sections are just plain boring. So the gameplay has it's flaws but plenty of good thing to make it enjoyable.
Overall :
FRWL is a game James Bond fans will love , but other gamers will also have some fun with it. It's a decent action game.
