There were two games I had on my “must own” list for Christmas 2003. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and this one: Freedom Fighters. Both games were huge hits. Freedom Fighters has a great story line (one that I felt had similarities to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 – Soviets attack America, etc.). This is the first squad based game where my “allies” weren’t annoying or stupid. The AI of your compatriots in Freedom Fighters is excellent. The story was intriguing and I never put this game down. I must have defeated it in just a few days (before going back to work after the holidays). Excellent game, try it out.
I like this game. A lot. Plot -not to get too political, but the story in Freedom Fighters could've happened (or could, maybe). Probably not exactly like the game (because the main character is a freaking plumber)... Read Full Review
When first looking at this game, i did not like the whole squad absed action aspect. I preferred being the one person who was awesome enough to destrot my foes. Regardless i picked this game up. I found the game play ... Read Full Review
