A fantastic job done for an MMO with E rating that you need to try it to believe it.

First, I would apologize to everyone who read my review and found it poorly done because this is my very first review.

To let everyone know that I have played many pay to play and free to play MMORPGs before such as Everquest, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft (currently playing Wrath of the Lich King), Guild Wars, Rappelz, RF Online etc.. People may think that I have no life for all of these MMOs, but I went to college, have a job, and still be able to enjoy the games.

I joined this game not very long since the release date is April 29, 2009. My character only process couple levels and some areas of the beginning of the game. However, this game so far has a very different experience compare many other MMOs. The game play has a special depth and variety as well the technical aspect of the game.

Players will start the game from its main website which is www.freerealms.com. At first, it may confuse people the game is flash type game which will play base on a website, but when the game start, it turn into client which would give player a first new experience. The game starts with a tutorial area which will give players all the basic idea how to play the game and how the game would process. Normally on many MMOs, a quest giver would require a player go some places, kill something, collect items, or helping someone that would relate to beating something up. In Free Realms on the first illustration shows, players can chose whatever to beat the angry monsters up or different way to solve the problem (such as scare the goblin away by disguise as a big ugly monster or cook up something to strengthen someone to do the job for you). This is a very new experience from Free Realms. Also, players can change the server they on anytime they wanted by choosing the server that players would like to play when getting on the game.

Free Realms offer players with many jobs that players can change any time they like which out making a new character. Each job has a different way to play and enjoy the game. For example, the bawler will play like a fighter from other MMORPGs that would beat up some bad and angry monster while cooking job will let you play the game like Cooking Mama game and harvesting job play like matching puzzle game. Every job will have a different path and quest line to play. It also seem like will lead to different story of the game. The game play of Free Realms is the combination of many other mini games inside it but also the main adventuring and exploring mix within. This will keep players busy with many activities as well never feel have to do same thing over and over again, yet at some points, players may have to repeat something due to the game still have its own limit.

Lastly, look like the technicians have done amazingly job on designing this game. The graphic of this game got a very high detail even for cartoon type graphic. The texture of the object show very detail for event a small dot on it. The bloom effect not too bright or too dark but depend on the terrains and areas that players in. The ground even got flora with animation as well as the trees. The shadow aspect is able to response correctly to the environment. Water engine does quite okay job that let it shinny but does not have much of the reflection and unknown about splashing (but this could be what they wanted since it looks right to a cartoon type graphic game than the real water). Surprisingly, the game run under 100 Mb as each time the game run and not even cost space in the hard drive like many decent graphic MMO games that could take over 10 Gb of the hard drive. This is all thanks for the half client and half flash type of the game since it only download the necessary files as the game process base on the flash type game.

Overall, I would say this game is a very good family game that could suck players at many ages in with its brand new game play experience and charming graphic. You should try it to see and believe it.
