Transforming terrain to kill enemies has never been so boring.

User Rating: 1.5 | Fracture PS3
Fracture drew me in because of the terrain transforming.

Fracture could have been so much more, they did an amazing job with the terrain transforming, it really added more tactical options when playing through the game. You could create cover to protect you from fire, you could dig down and discover a new route through the level. A fantastic concept.

However fracture spoiled the concept.

Graphics wise fracture is poor, whether this was intended or not remains to be seen but nothing about this game looks good, even the terrain transforming looks poor.

Voice acting is very poor, very stale. It is hard to take this game seriously as the characters sound like robots trying to impersonate a human, but poorly.

The story is a total joke, all you know is the there is a civil war in America .... hmmm unoriginal plot in my opinion. It just isn't enough to draw you in.

The game is very difficult to play, the controls are in shambles. It also takes too long to get used to the terrain transforming mechanic.

Overall, if more time and money had been put into this game it would have been something great, I really liked the terrain transforming mechanic and I hope to see it in future games.

The game is cheap for a reason, its that bad I got it for £1.50 .....
