Forza Motorsport is one of the best driving games available on the Xbox!

Forza Motorsport was Microsoft's response to Sony's wildly successful Gran Turismo series, and although the Forza franchise has since expanded quite a bit, this debut entry was one of the most notable racing titles on the original Xbox. Its realistic driving controls are almost ridiculously tight and responsive, the graphics take full advantage of the Xbox, and the massive selection of cars is bound to impress any automobile buff. Of course, the game has since seen superior sequels, but Forza Motorsport is still worth a purchase for Xbox owners.

The fact that the game can be found for a very affordable price these days also adds to my recommendation - this is a huge, addicting, and extremely well-made game that should be played immediately by any racing fan. I do prefer Gran Turismo 3 and 4 to Forza (at least this first entry in the series), but this is still an excellent driving simulator. Although I find myself getting bored during a lot of these kinds of ultra-realistic racers, Forza offers enough content and gameplay options to remain interesting. I'm not the sort of person who can dump countless hours into this game, but it's a great way to enjoy a few relaxing races after an intense gaming session.

All in all, Forza Motorsport is an exceptionally well-made driving game that still remains impressive today. Highly recommended to racing fans.
