what game on the 360 and what moment was it that gave you the ultimate high of "the Zen of gaming"
Mine was Mass effect, when you are running along the side of the middle of the citadel looking directly into space, and the main enemy in all its glory. Whats your's?
Hmm, I think it was when I played as a mage in Oblivion. It was the first and only game (so far) where I enjoyed playing as a magic user and it just felt like that was the way a mage should be.

after you encounter the first combine advisor in the barn and escape its clutches. Next thing you know youjump into your car (69 dodge charger) and get the hell out of there.Techno music is going, girl at your side in the car, and a helicopter chasing you... by far my favorite zen. Mine was after getting my ass kicked in Ninja Gaiden II by these huge werewolves for over an hour, I thought I tried everything. I then found a weapon and a couple of combo's that worked really good against them. Ended up beating the rest of the level without dieing to them and they all were **** up, no legs arms, heads. Yeah that's my moment in Zen Whooping Werewolves **** asses and leaving them missing body parts.
In Gears of War when I chainsawed my first locust...I had watched so many gamneplay movies of the first few levels and of people chainsawing and when I finally started to play the game it felt nostalgic and as though I had been playing it for ages even though I didn't know teh controls that well and then I said to my friend ' I'm gonna do this!' and I ran in and got my first chainsaw kill...that was the best moment :D
Getting 35 kills and 6 dominations with a turret in 6 minutes on the first map of dustbowl in TF2 :D The first few weeks where soo many people didn't know what they were doing were so much fun. Now people have learnt tactics for that sort of thing :(
Either when in the first CONDEMED, when right at the start you get knocked to the growed, and the creepy dude stares you down, points his fingers into a gun, and says bang, laughs and walks away into the darkness.

I know ur thread specifies 360, but I just got mine not even an hour ago, zen moments are a reason Ive bought a 360, only had 3 this gen none on wii 2 on ps3 and one in the original xbox, so as the 360 features a larger library i know this is about to change, anyways: 1. Finishing MGS4 and watching the end 2.Beating the last levels on uncharted 3.Beating the gigantic mechanical spider like thing at the begining of halo 2, I t was simple but It felt epic.
Most of the ending sequence of Beyond Good And Evil. *spoiler* From flying to the moon, Pey'j's resurrection (*sniffle* :']) to defeating the Domz priest and the discovery of Jade's true nature. I was just in a trance until the credits rolled.*end spoiler* NG II. I just tore through the campaign like a demon, it was surreal. The very end of CoD4 *spoiler* when you're handed the pistol. ... emm, I just got home, I'm tired u__u zzz
Mass Effect's ending. It was great adventure with a great ending. From the moment I hit the start button until the credits started to roll, the game was an addiction. The ending was worth it :)
Once i was running away from all of the other team and I ran across the tracks and all of the other team was still on it and one of them started lagging. All of them froze up and couldn't move and the train hit all of them.
During the Gears 2 campaign, when I had a sniper rifle. I was sniping this Locust patrol and Marcus was going: 'Thats one!' 'Thats two!!' 'Thats Three!!!' Thats four!!!!' 'THATS FIVE MOTHERF***ERS!!!!!' Thats when I realized Gears 2 was awesome. Also, when Marcus went WHO WANTS TOAST!!
Thats hard to say I've had it a lot of times. Although probably the most recent will have to be when I was playing CoD: WaW online, when I was just in the zone doing everything perfect.
You know when your getting headshots left and right without even taking a second to smell the burning corpses of the enemies. In other words I feel like Rambo just killing everyone in sight without even getting a scratch.
Thats pretty much it, and I'm pretty sure everyones had this kind of moment :D.
Playing a regular death match in Gears 2. I hid most of the round when all of the sudden it was sudden death between me and this one guy so we both came out of hiding. My team was screaming at me, and as he planted a grenade I shot him to high heaven with a shotty then blew up after winning the match from that planted grenade. It was perfect.
looks like theres a lot more zen moments then i expected, i neglected my other zen moment with half life 2 for the original xbox, it wasn't any special part of the game but at one point my hands began to meld with the controller, and i felt completely immersed in the game for about 10 seconds - instead of moving the analog stick, it felt like i was moving my arms and pulling the trigger, id like to have that again.
The first time I used VATS in Fallout 3 and a Raider's head just lopped right off. It was bliss. And then I smacked around the corpse with my sledgehammer until I dismembered each limb. So awesome.
Opening scene of Prey, where the jukebox suddenly plays 'Don't fear the reaper' as the alien ship starts beaming **** up. Awesome.
Also,
I was tracking down diamonds in Far Cry 2, and I finally figured out that I had to hang glide off a cliff to get down to an otherwise unreachable ledge on the other side of a waterfall, and I was all "How the **** did a briefcase get over here, lol"
