Think about it. There are a ton of people getting this game pretty soon and most of them will be signing onto XBL. Either way, it will be a test for XBL.

LOL, probably, maybe you will probably want to beat the storymode first. By the way what was the update last week for? was it for the Halo 3 preperation?

you realise that all the servers for gameas are running off of peoples home internet connections? not ms. One overhyped game isn't going to crash xbox live.

The update last week was for that quiz game that looks like a rip-off of buzz

I doubt it. Halo is MS biggest franchise. They would be well prepared for this. Besides Bungie stated they have increased their servers ten fold for Halo 3. Shouldn't be a problem.

There where two minor updates a few weeks ago, which if I'm not mistaken where preparations for this. But guess we'll see soon enough if it was enough.

Yea, maybe our xbox's will explode at about 1a.m. when everyone gets home and starts playing (assuming a lot of people get it tonight). I know MS has prepared for the release, but like many new releases there are kinks to work out. We'll see if the online runs smooth...

There won't be that many extra unique users on xbl... They will just be playing a different game, thats all. So it shouldn't make that big of a difference. Even so, the games are hosted by players, so it really doesn't matter anyways.
