Will Halo 3 beat the 9.6 gamespot score given to gears and oblivion?

The highest score that i have seen that gamespot gave to a game was the first halo 9.7. However, will halo 3 score higher? I doubt it. At best it will tie at 9.6. what do you think?

Well gamespot has given out a handful of 10 scores. I believe Chrono Cross, Tony Hawk 2 and Ocarina of Time though I ight be wrong on that.

As for Halo 3. An emphatic NO, I reckon it wont even break 9, let alone exceed current 360 records. I'll be glad to be prvoen wrong though.

Dont get me wrong, this game is gonna be good, but sayin its gonna be 10 is saying everything is apsolutely perfect, and there will always be somethin wrong with a game that a person wants to changejarhead2003

Well regardless of where it scores, which I think it will be a 9.3 or so, this will be the biggest Halo ever, because the customer base on the 360 is already at a much larger group of gamers, then the original Xbox was at this point in time, when the first 2 halos were outRvdecwthug1976

they used to throw out 10's like crazy, but I think they rate games more accurate now, but I do agree with all the 10's they've ever handed out, except soul calibur, good game, unique but not a 10.

I'm honestly guessing the game will, on average, score in at 9.0...There is too much hype for this game, and people are expecting to be flabbergasted which, although the game will be amazing, I don't think it will be that amazing...havokmaster

i think everyone knows thw multiplayer will be great, so it all depends on SP and graphics and sound etc....i'm thinkin 9.2

No. Most likely not, but it there is a slight possibility. It needs to outdo Halo 2 so I'm guessing it will get between 9 and 9.5.
