:D its great to see square enix extend and expand the series beyond the grasp of sony + i woundnt buy a ps3 for a Final Fantasy game only 4 Metal Gear Solid
FF9 was my favorite aswell.I am alittle worried aswell.I am getting tired of this futuristic stuff.I want it to go back to the original Black/white mages Knights stuff like that.
I'm glad360 fans can enjoy it despite my doubts as too how good the game will actually be after the travesty that was X and XII. I'm personally gonna give it a go on the PS3 since there is a good chance the 360 version will be inferior since they began porting it mid way through development and the game wasn't meant to run on 360 hardware, this is why a lot of 360 ports run terribly on PS3, poor porting.
FF7 Just set the bar too high that other FF games seems not on par with FF7's storyline. But every FF after 7 had it's own merits FF9 had the best graphics on the series for PS1, FFX had a great Job Leveling system FF8 had an innovative card game. I haven't gone into 11 & 12 yet but most of these games give you the best value for your money.
If there was a standalone console that can play all FF games I would buy it.FF games are the best!
Of course?. But too be honest if iI could pick which exclusives got ported, I'm not sure it'd be this one. It would be really funny if for every exclusive we got, we'd have to give them 1 of ours of their choosing. :o

Why do people hate on FFX so much, I thought it was easily the best in the series. Certainly offered the stiffest challenge, and I loved the storyline (ok so it was just as cliched as the others but at least it was given an original twist).
Also it seems to be that games which are multiplatform, yet had the PS3 as the lead SKU, port well to the 360, just not the other way round. It seems to be the way the developers can get the best results on both systems, and looks to be the way the market is heading with more and more games now using the PS3 to lead.
