i am most excited in this order
brutal legend > borderlands > fallout 3 (did not like game at all, everything looked... the same)
But I believe borderlands will have higher production values than either, I am just more excited for Brutal.
I've got Brutal Legend ordered, most likely will get Borderlands before end of year, & I've already completed Fallout 3+ all DLC. Fallout 3 is an excellent game, you must be exaggerating by saying it's terrible right?Borderlands, because I already have Brutal Legend, and Fallout 3 is terrible.

Compared to the previous Fallouts (not BOS!) its terrible.

- By the time you're level 30, your a walking god. Nothing can kill you.
- The story was terrible to the extreme. You dont even need a massive purifier to get radiation out of water for crying out loud.
- None of my decisions had any effect whatsoever. For example, the option to put the virus in the water. What happens when I do that? You can only drink a certain amount of water before dieing. Why aren't most people dead? I left the president alive, in hopes that I could join him in Broken Steel. Oh wait! They made it mandatory he was destroyed.
- The repair skill. It isn't fun to have to fix a gun after every 3 shots. Double so if the gun is unique.
- The terrible storyline wasn't even original. They just rehashed the storys of FO1 and 2, minus the good writing. How hard would it've been to make a new antagonist?

Fallout 3> all other Fallouts
It was hands down the best game in the series.
Anyway, I put a pre-order on Borderlands, so there is my answer.

It was hands down the best game in the series.
- In most games, by the time you reach max level you are supposed to be like a God. Ever had a level 20 character in D&D?
- It isn't any worse than the other stories in the franchise. The first one has you galavanting around the wasteland looking for a water purifer chip. Woo-wee, that is epic.
- The other games didn't even have any real decisions.
- It is supposed to make you feel like a survivor struggling to get by. It forces you to scavenge and look for supplies to keep you gear in check.
- You pretty much repeated point 2.
Anyway, I put a pre-order on Borderlands, so there is my answer.

I am not going to get into a point by point war with you. IMO, Fallout 3 was hands down the best game of the series. You can disagree if you want, but the points you make sound ridiculous. You even admit that none of the Fallout games decisions had any real bearing on the game world. Also, as far as I know there was no "Boss Fight" at the end.
IMO, the original Fallouts were highly over-rated. But it's whatever.
well already got fallout 3 anddont really plan to get the other to but i suppose borderlands looks interesting
I've already fully played Fallout 3, and I'm eager to see what Borderlands is like, so I'd go for Borderlands. Brutal Legend doesn't really appeal to me
tough choice. here's my opinion on all of them:
Brutal Legend:
the demo was amazing! I really loved it. but I have yet to see what the multiplayer will be like. so from what I've seen, it's looks like a single player I'll love at first, but get tired of it soon.
Borderlands:
looks to be GOTY. large, open world to roam about in with TONS of loot and weapons! I can make several different characters and build up on all those characters over time.
Fallout 3 GOTY:
one of the best single player games ever. with the free DLC coming with it, I feellike I'm getting an extra 40+ hours of game time added in. although, the world seems lonely and it got a little boring having to game by myself.
of all these, I choose Boderlands. I loved Fallout 3, and this game looks to be all of that with 4 player co-op, and a lot better!
this except i don't have mothership zetaBorderlands, because I already got fallout with all the DLCs
Dordledum
Already have fallout 3 and is best of the series and should of won GoTY, looking forward to brutal legend.
