For me I use to buy my 360 games at GameStop, but after a while, I figured out that they pretty much rip you off at times and I found a much better deal with a store.

I now buy at CIrcuit City because I have a Gaming Savings Membership thats exclusive to Circuit City, which gives me 10% on every and any video game purchase, now that is something worth having.

Circuit City, for me, is the best place to buy video games.

What about you guys?

Best Buy or Futureshop are te places I normally get my games. Sometimes I'll go to EB Games if Future Shop and Best Buy don't have what I'm looking for.

Well, gamestop always opens their games and still claim it as new which I don't like. I buy mines at Targets now. Used to at gamestop though. I only get at gamestop if it's for a resservation.

Must be a bad Gamestop. I just buy my games at Gamestop and use their coupons and edge card. Plus i'll soon work there and get loads more off.

I almost always buy my games at half.com or amazon.com (that includes the marketplace), between those 2 i can usually find the game I'm looking for cheaper than anywhere else.

I usually get my games at EB games, used ones are the best way to go if your short on money or if you just dont feel like spending 50 dollars on a game. Also you can get that Edge card and get 10 percent off i think it is. But recently they changed he Eb games in the mall in my city to a Gamestop but they still have good deals on used and EB games offers you a warranty i believe still that covers them for a year i think it is.

I buy mine, usually, from Gamestation. They have better deals but also give me much more credit for trade ins. However if I'm looking online then it's the usual suspects:

Game
Gamestation
Amazon
Play
...

Gamestop...i dont understand why people say they rip you off -_- It does not. I live by both circuit city and gamestop. Back when GBA games were still active. I found some games for 35$ at circuit city but only $30 at gamestop. Sometimes (rarely) the other way around . But usually, Gamestop had the better employees, more helpful, nicer, and better prices. They also had used games so it was cheaper most the time.

Gamestation usually, as their trade-ins are slightly better value than GAME's (even though they're both rip-offs really).

I'm finding myself buying more and more games online though, as I usually save about £5.

I was a bit late to the XBOX game, purchasing the system in May - so I have quite a backlog of games to go through. I never buy new games, as I have often been disappointed when that new game stinks after plopping down $60. I primarily buy at amazon.com. Occasionally Blockbuster will clear out their stock of games by selling them and I get them cheap there...but I'm limited to whatever they are selling. I tried the Ebay route, but got tired of waiting 7 days for the auction to end only to have the last 2 minutes of the auction drive the price up.

Gamestop has been consistently higher in price for the used games, usually by about $10 or more vs. Amazon. The advantage to Gamestop is the 7 day warranty. With Amazon, you can return for a refund less shipping (and occasionally a restock fee) or if the disc is different or unplayable, you can put in a claim and get a full refund.

I'm currently playing Oblivion ($18 from Amazon), Star Wars Lego Complete Saga ($9 from Amazon) and Baldur's Gate ($8 from Amazon). Just finished HALO ($4 from Amazon).

where i live theres a huge place with movies and games called entertainmart and thay have great deals on 360 games assassins creed is only $20 and gears is only $30 and halo3 is only$40. and none of their games are scratched because they don't buy scratched games. And they also get new games shipped to them and new 360 pro's and elites shipped to them from microsoft. thats where i got my 360 and my games from. But I also go to gamestop sometimes to get games and some accesories because entertainmart reall doesn't have any accesories which is strange.

Gamestop for used games because my wife works there. Her discount plus the edge card get me 25% off of used games. Best Buy for new games because of the Rewardzone.

Blockbuster if I want to trade in games. Gamestop if they send me coupons. PlayNtrade, Circuit City or Best Buy if i'm feeling desperate for a game that I can't find anywhere else. Actually I'm not gonna buy games anymore, gonna rent them instead via gamefly, making myself an account as early as next month. This way atleast I won't miss out on any of the games coming out and if I really like the game, I can always buy it for a discount price once again from gamefly.
