In my opinion K:D ratios stopped mattering once they added ranks and prestige(s) to the experience. Back in the day when you had all your guns from the start like in Counterstrike it actually mattered, you could always use the guns you want and a K:D could actually mean something. Unless they start giving me the 3-4 guns i wanna play with in Bops from the start and that im good with, then my K:D has already been skewed into a useless number. Id say above 2:1 is not a bad ratio to have if you prestige. Individuals who play more intensely and dont ever prestige I wouldn't doubt would be able to maintain a much higher K:D ratio than that.
1.08 I think... K/D is bollocks though. I'm not always seriously playing, sometimes I just use a sniper while I suck at it. Same for other weps. K/D also makes people leave games, when they start losing they just ragequit. It's just hella annoying.
My overall K/D is 1.24, but I usually play objective modes and I always go for the objective rather then camping. On objective modes I usually do 1.00-1.80 sometimes higher sometimes lower depending on the other team. On FFA I'm usually between 2.00-3.00 and TDM between 1.80-2.50 again sometimes higher sometimes lower, always depends on the other teams/players skills. When I first started playing my matchs were almost always .50-1.50, that's how it goes for me when I don't know the maps. My K/D will inevitably drop again when I buy First Strike though.
My k/d is 1.73. More importantly is my SPM, which is 306 and rising. SPM shows you're real worth on the battlefield more accurately than k/d ratio.

True. I didn't consider objective based games because I never play them in COD. I stick to team deathmatch. I play objective games in Battlefield. Battlefield games are better suited for objectives while COD is suited for deathmatch.
2.20 and I only play tdm. My wife plays a lot on my account and she is probably around .60-.70. She is actually pretty good when she isn't messing around, like only running around with a claymore trying to set them behind people to kill them :)
Meh I stoped caring about my K/D and win/ lost record in black ops for a few reasons. One being the sucky respawn system in the game. Two fire fights usually depends on who has the fastest connection. Example, I am shooting at a guy a good 5-10 seconds before he starts firing or sees me but some how he kills me. Then I watch the kill cam and it shows me not even firing when I know I was. And I have a good connection. I join a game and 9 times out of 10 I join on a losing team. Campers are annoying as ever. Even though mw2 had alot of issues I had way more fun with that game.
