It must have something to do with the recent update because mine did it too. I would connect and the second I start loading a game, it would disconnect. Just go and unplug your modem and router for about 30 seconds and then plug them back in. Wait a couple minutes to let everything re-boot and connect and then it should work. Whenever people have live problems with connecting, the first thing you always do is recycle your modem, router, etc and see if that works. I garentee if you call any customer support, thats the first thing they will tell you.
xbox live is starting to make me mad every time they say its going to be down for exactly eight hours it ends up being like a day. just tell me its going to be a day i would be a lot less mad then expecting it to be working after eight hours.
