what games are there to look forward to this year?

besides halo odst and modern warfare 2 i dont really see any games this year to look forward to. are there any games out there that i might have missed somehow? i play mostly shooters and rpgs, but im open to any kind of game.

tiger woods 10 comes outjune 8... i never watch golf or play it but video game golf is addictive

Alan Wake looks to be awesome, but there's been virtually no news on it.

wow, christmas must have come early. that is a joke.a big fat juicy joke. that game wont be much of a big seller, the only good game from EA i see in the horizon is DANTES awakening.

anyways most of you are forgetting, marvel ultimate alliance 2, NHL 10, FIFA 10 , ohhh and the terminator game looks kind of interesing. there are others games as well. i cant remember most but there will be games to get.

some games come out like soo fast after announement, so anything can be released.

bayonetta looks cool, MW2 looks good as well.

but i think this year generally isnt all that mouth watering.

2010, will be the real year of games, lost planet 2, dead rising 2, fifa world cup 2010 south africa etc etc.

ohh, and i forgot about god of war 3. though i dont even know when it comes out. lol

but that will be a MUST buy.

Uh yeah, sales have nothing to do with "GOTY". Tim Schafer is more well known and respected that most of these devs putting out games this year. The man has never released a bad game. Every game has been an absolute masterpiece. And Brutal Legend will be no different. It'll get very high scores. Double Fine and Tim Schafer know how to crank out the hot stuff.

And it's Dante's Inferno and the game looks mediocre.

Yeah. Tim Schafer is a psychotic genius. Brutal Legend will be a godsend to the mediocricy of this generation. Also, Dante's Inferno looks great. Nice action-packed God of War like game. I can't wait.

E3 is in one month, and I'm sure MS will have some major game announcements for you then.

Definitely Bayonetta although I'm getting it for the PS3. Well maybe. I tend to like my action/adventure multi-plats on the 360.

Blazblue as well, although again, I'd be getting it for the PS3.

My top five are:

1. Mafia II (seems to be flying under the radar at the moment)

2. Halo 3: ODST

3. MW:2

4. Mass Effect 2

5. Batman Arkham Asylum

Only 2 games that you see that look good releasing this year? Slide through the new release schedule for the Xbox 360 as thats just crazy.
