Play the demo, if you enjoy it then you know pretty much what you're getting, and I think Gamestop just gave it a price drop to $30, so I'd say go for it.

I have to agree this game is not for kids in the slightest ... it may look it but if you delve into it you will find a very rewarding and deep experience!!
These kind of games should be recognised for bringing something a little diffrent to everyones 360 experience that doesn't involve shooting or racing round a track ... I for one support this kind of game and inovation ... give it a try the only disappointment will be that you never have enough time to lure in that one Pinata you want before bed time!
Viva offers just enough challenge to keep you interested, but not so much as to be frustrating. I love shooters, but goshdammit sometimes I just need some good colorful fun to balance it out. Viva Pinata is just the game for that.
honestly I played the demo and I liked it. If you have ever played sim city it kind of resembles that except instead of a city as your sandbox its a garden.

Viva Pinata sucks, it's boring, repetitive and tedious.
I tried to play as much as I could but couldn't even get to 10 hours because of the horrifying mediocrity of the so called "game". More like sit and watch your pinatas walk around doing nothing in your garden for endless of hours. Should have been done on the DS because that's where it belongs, on a kiddy handheld for 7 year old girls. And it's severely lacking in the fun department.

i enjoy it yeah its a bit colorful and i know people who are like its weak or lame and then i ask "have you played it?" and thats when you get the well umm yeah ummm my g/f cousin's brother's grandma's neice's daughter's friend has it and i watched them play it.... so its all about what you prefer its like animal crossing kinda
