If I buy a game of the year edition (includes all DLC) of a game used, will I still get the DLC?

Or do I just get the special packaging and have to pay for the DLC anyways?

If the DLC is on a disc youll be fine. It can be used over and over If its a voucher its probably been redeemed but they package it anyways.

One time i bought Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition used from gamestop for $14.99. I told the lady if this code is redeemed can i bring this back and she said yea. Well i went home and entered the code and nobody had ever used it. I was pleased with my $15 purchase.

I just got Forza Motorsport 2 for 5 bucks. It was initially 3 bucks but I bought the 2 dollar disc replacement thing. But it came with a disc with added content. It installed fine.

GOTYs that I know/have been told is good to purchase pre-owned, as the content is on disc or on a seperate disc:

Midnight Club LA

Oblivion (though you don't get everything with this, there is still seperate DLC)

Fallout 3

Fable 2

Left 4 Dead

____________________________________________________________________________

GOTYs I know you'll probably need to purchase new because of download code/s:

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

Borderlands

____________________________________________________________________________

GOTYs that I don't know about either way:

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

I can't think of any other titles with most/all of the DLC included in the purchase price, but I hope this helped.

I'm getting the Xbox 360 version of CoD4. (There wouldn't be a separate disk just for ONE map pack, right?)

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition just has a second disk in which you download all the DLC off. Doesn't matter if you buy it new or used.

If it's a code, unlikely. I once used to share a Xbox 360, and I got the GOTY edition of Call Of Duty 2 and put the codes in. I got my own Xbox 360 going up for 2 years ago now, and it wouldn't work anymore, so I would now have to pay for the maps :(. It was used beforehand, as well... so they can't have used it.

Wouldn't the maps be in your DL history? Maybe not though since it wasn't bought off XBLMP.

No, since I got my own Xbox 360 afterwards ;). Mine was the new one.
