There's speculation it will be set in Japan, and I would really love to see it set there. Where do you believe it will be set, or where would you like it to be set.

That surprising considering PGG is said to be working on a new IP, an RPG at that.

But hot damn, that's great news with FH3 getting the X treatment in a few days and then we get FH4 late this year, good stuff.

@SecretPolice: If I remember correctly they expanded the size of their team so they could keep working on Forza Horizon as well.

I'm fine with Japan, I trust this dev and looking forward to seeing what they come up with, as long as it's different enough from the last 3 games it should be a treat.

I never played the first 360 one, but have greatly enjoyed 2 and 3. Also, if it is Japan they'll have to include every iconic Japanese sports car ever so good stuff.

Yeah Playground has opened a second studio and have poached talent from such devs as R*, Konami & from the guys who made Hellblade, now take from that what you will. There is also a rumour (that seems to be getting louder) that MS has has given this team one of their IP's to work on, and that they are working on Fable 4, awesome news if true, and if it is we would likely see it at E3 this year.

Should be an interesting E3.

It makes sense to set it in Japan, you can have the rolling mountains in the background with country areas littered with blossom trees and the like, then roar into the city at night with a mass of neon lights everywhere, some serious eye candy if you will, now throw in everything that makes Horizon awesome and Playground are onto another winner :)
