hi there, im thinking i buying a 120 gb harddrive seeing as im running out of space on my 20 gb but im wondering about the dangers of transfering stuff via the special cable. ive heard it can corrupt save games and some things can be completley changed and others just dissapear, also with the arcade games can i re download them on a 120 gb without paying?

The only thing on my 20 gig that didnt transfer to the 120, was Original Xbox save files. Everything else was fine. Including all DLC game content and Arcade games.

Anything you bought from Marketplace with MS Points you can re-download for free so that wont be a problem.

However with xbla games their copy protection links them to the original harddrive they were downloaded onto. If the second HDD (your 120GB elite HDD) isn't connected to the internet when you go to play them, you may only be able to play the trial versions of them even though you have paid for and unlocked the whole game
