So I've looked through the first three pages and didn't see any topics about the new black 360 and hard drive that was mentioned on the ticker tape of G4 tv tonight. Anyone else got any info on it?
Well they did say they were launching it when the PS3 launches in Australia so it sounds like they are in the know about something at least. Also they did say it was $100.00 more and that it came with the 120 gig harddrive. I know G4 isn't the most reliable but it's odd they are the only ones reporting it?
And while I agree that a larger hard drive is not needed (i've never been below like 11 gigs free), it would allow me to start using it for things that I simply don't know like storing shows and actually keeping demo's if I so chose to.

Thank you, I was starting to think I was crazy. OK so yeah, G4TV AOTS had that running in there ticker tape tonight. Maybe I missed the part where they were not confirming it, but it read like it was fact to me. I did however question why no other game sites are really talking about it. Only time will tell I guess. I hope it's true even though I think it did say it was limited. At least that would mean that they were going to do the bigger hard drives sooner rather than later.
a black 360 with a 200gb hard drive does exist. but it's a dev kit for game producers/developers. black so they know which 360 is special and can do more than just play games :P.
as far as a black public 360...i donno if see that happening. unless it's like a limited edition 360, but i think microsoft would most likely use a different color other than black. that's just a hunch though, nothing really credible to that statement.
