So did anyone like Red Dead Redemption?

I think i got good deal today?, i ordered it at best buy new for $21 shipped.

I'm late i know! but i cant wait to play it, looks awesome from the video ive watched. what did you guys think of it? ive always liked western movies and such so this should be great.

Its one of the best games I've ever played. Fun multiplayer, lots to do in either single player or multiplayer, and a great story.

It can be a tad repetitive and slow, but its a great time sink, and the constant stream of upgrades and new characters means it never gets boring for too long before some fun train shootout or explosive mine cart getaway happens.

That was a steal. One of my top 5 Xbox games.

Its my favourite game of all time, iv spent nearly 300hrs in multiplayer and im still playing it.

It was a really enjoyable game.

Not to rain on your parade, but did you get the complete edition? Either way it is worth $21, but they recently released an edition with all the DLC and whatnot. You'll enjoy it, its truly a journey.

It is a great game and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Touchy story too.

Most people say the game is great. I found it to be pretty good for the most part. It was a great concept, and for the first 1/2-2/3 of the game it was fun, and interesting, but after doing basically the same missions over and over it became pretty boring towards the end. It was sort of an effort just to finish the game.

I bought it but, never played it. I was scared I would like the game too much. So, when I get home I will try it out when I have time.

I rented it and had a GREAT few days playing it. I'm finally seeing it for a cheaper price, so I'll probably pick it up soon. It's just fun to ride around and hunt animals then sell the skins to stores. gambling is fun too. Plus, the story and voice acting is very good. One of my favorite free-roaming games. I really hope GTA V is this good (gta iv was a bit of a letdown though)

One of the best games ever.

I was very judgemental towards the game, i bought it because of the hype and it stayed on the shelf for like 5-6 months. But when i actually gave it a chance, it was an outstanding experience. Though it is not mentioned much, it has AMAZING GRAPHICS, and BEAUTIFUL SCENERY. I still cannot forget the moment i first stepped foot on Mexico and while i was slowly riding my horse through the deserts of that new land, an amazing song started playing. It was phenomenal. Also it has one of the best endings i have played in a game.

I picked up the GOTY version recently and it is definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

I have ADD and the last time I was able to sit down and play a game straight for atleast 1 hour was Halo 3 back in 2008. I saw this game at Target on Black Friday last week on the clearance section for $20. I decided to buy it because I heard it was a good game and it was the last copy. It is one of the best game purchases I've ever made. Just yesterday, I played it for almost 3 hours straight! I love just roaming around while at the same time, admiring the splended graphics. It's also one of the most immersive games I've ever played. Every character you interact with has so much personality and there's so much you could do to get involved in the game.

It was good up to a point - but it didn't measure up to anywhere near my expectations from a narrative standpoint. Was really disappointed on just how dull and uninteresting the story turned out to be.

Undead nightmare had a few lolz but was similarly uninspired towards the end.

Loved it so much.. my personal GoTY for last year

I enjoyed it for sure but it did get a little repetitive after awhile. Still a good game though.

I didn't like it. I LOVED it. The ending is the best in gaming I've ever seen. However I think the ending music should have been Ain't No Grave by Johnny Cash.

I really liked this game, finished the story mode 3 times played hundreds of hours online.I think the story mode is awesome aldo its easy, a bit slow sometimes and I dont like how it takes alot of time to get some guns specially when you replay it.The story is awesome specially for video game standards its a good western story and I'm sure it would have made a good movie/ tv series and it wouldve been way better than lots of stuff they put on tv.

Online mode is ok I like coop missions but free roaming with friends can be fun too and if you like pvp and competition there's alot of it.There's many bugs and issues online tho and from what I've heard the new online modes from the DLC dont get as much players as others aldo it may have changed since they started selling the full game and cheaper packages.

I only bought the 10$ zombie package when it came out cause other DLC were a joke for 10 $.I think it wasnt so bad you still play the same character and aldo its short and a bit limited the zombies are fun to kill and add a big change to the gameplay cause they dont hide and shoot but chase and jump you.Also the new gun that make the zombies explode is so awesome, you cant get tired of it lol

I think overall they did a great job giving us an epic open world western but with a bit less greediness and laziness it could have been better.

I disagree that its repetitive tho, this game is more linear that GTA and yes its often go there and kill those but thats what this game is about lol Its like playing a racing or hockey game and saying its repetitive cause you only do races or play hockey ...
