So I gave one of my close friends the privilege to sign into my account on his Xbox and use it whenever he wants cause' his account got suspended for modding issues. He obviously took my gamer-score and modded it to a higher number. I got suspended for two days and just got it back. I already told him to stop and he did. So now my question is, is there any way I can get my gamer-score to reset back to where I had it?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. Your achievements are permenant and so is your gamer score, you should never give someone else your account, ever. You should be careful who you trust with such things.

Oh well lessoned learn, time to move on.

Take it from me mate, learn a lesson, and move on.

Never, ever, give out any passwords to anyone. Not your mum, not even your future spouse. It's a massive security hole.

I am sorry your mate let you down. Don't trust anyone.

You should NEVER share your information with anyone. It isn't a "privilege" to allow someone to use your log in information. It's stupid.

Maybe if you talk to support. But then again, that may not work. You seem to have made a bad decision. Now you know.

Why don't you just go to the xbox forums and post this?

Yeah bro not much you can do here. You can try to dispute it but i think you are gonna lose. Your lucky they did not ban your IP address and brick your console all together....

No way to change the GS back and you shouldn't let your 'close friend' who got hammered for modding anywhere near any of your stuff, ever. He lost his chance to have access to XBL once, why give him a chance to put your account at risk?

Why even mod a gamerscore anyway? What's the point, to seem like you're cool or something because a big number says you are...? Sounds like your friend has a bit of a problem

What kind of friend gets on your account and starts modding it? And what kind of person are you that would give him access to your account after knowing he got banned for modding? Seems like an obvious trap that you walked right into.

Not that I know of and no offense but that was pretty stupid of you to give out your information like that.

I have a few close friends my self that even though I trust I would still never give out my account info to them simply because it's not worth the risk.

For whatever reason, this seems to be far less 'simple' and 'plain' than it should be for some people...

Something similar happened to my account, somehow it was hacked and the guy modded it to get my GS high. Got it back and everything but it was eventually reset back to 0. I disputed it and won the dispute, however they were unable to restore my gamerscore back to what it was. It was impossible. Anyway, no one is going to feel sorry for you. You are stupid for letting someone else use your account, much less someone who was suspended for modding issues in the first place!

Your friend proved to you that he wasn't trustworthy with his own machine, you shouldn't have lent out your machine for him to ruin. It seems whatever he gets his hands on he's intent on ruining.

The answer is no, and honestly, you may have problems in the future. Consider yourself lucky if nothing has happened so far.

I'm with others who state your best bet is to start a new account. A fresh start. And an important lesson learned. Ditch that "friend"
