Renting and DL'n to hard drive

i just realized this the other day. is it illegal to rent a game then dl it to your hard drive? its like a brand new game for 7$.

After you copy it onto your HDD, you need to keep the disc in the disc drive to play the game.

sweet i might stop and rent fallout 3 tn :D too bad i have a 20 gb hard drive >:O

can you really do this? just assumed you'd need to have the disk in drive to play like pc. damm just cancelled my rental account cause would rather buy games to replay later. so getting a bigger hdd and renting again if possible, no seriously though just because you can do something does not mean you should! piracy etc after all you can take it to the extreme and just chip 360 and dl cracked games but thn there's no money in industry and every one suffers.

After you install your game to your hard drive, you still need the disk to order to play it. The only difference is that the disk Drive is quieter, and it loads your games faster. I just want to let you know about that before you get to excited for it.

it wont work- u need the original in the tray

It's not a matter of wheather you will get banned or not, the system will physically NOT let you play a game you've downloaded to your hard drive without the disk in the tray, it simply does not work.

im starting to think these topics are traps to get people to flame, insult, or just break the TOU in general

kinda like a bait car, trying not to flame the creator of these topics is a real test of willpower

that aside, no you can not DL a game to ur HD then play it when u no longer have the disk
