Rate the Xbox 360

How would you rate the Xbox 360's position right now. I'd rate it a 9/10. I think it's doing thing's right now that other consoles are not doing, or not as well. Games on Demand is genius. However, need more space. Last.FM, Twitter, Facebook are a good luck. However, i feel twitter and facebook are very simple compared to their online counterparts. The software support is excellent. How do you feel about the 360 right now?

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.9. I like some of the exclusives, but most of them are pretty bad IMO. And i'm not a big fan of Live(price isn't the issue. It's the fact that I can't go anywhere without having to mute everyone and idiotic teammates). I also don't like the controller as much as i do the DualShocks(especially the DualShock 3 for PS3). Thankfully, the reliability has shot up phenominally over the years, so it isn't as big an issue now.

I love the 360,9.5/10 for me,Live is excellent and Im really looking forward to the future line up.Ill be buying alot more games in the next year than I have in any of the previous.

7/10, just because of how they manage to find ways to charge you for the most ridiculous stuff. Charging for avatar pictures and wallpapers? Seriously?!? I'm surprised I don't have to put quarters in my XBox for it to run.

I give it a 9 out of 10. The games are great, the online multiplayer is solid (for the most part), and all the addon are tight. I really like the 360 controller too. I played with a PS3 controller and can't believe how crappy the analog sticks are when compared to the 360 controller and the placement of them on the PS3 is ridiculous too. I just can't believe someone actually likes the dual shock over the 360 controller when the 360 controllers feel SO MUCH STURDIER AND WELL BUILT!

I give it 6/10. I'm taking off 2 points for the unreliable hardware, and another 2 points for charging money for DLC that would be free on a PC.UT_Wrestler

Damn. You're a very picky reviewer. I understand the hardware, but DLC is sort of our fault for buying it instead of boycotting it.

Ill base my score on the following criteria....Game Library, Controler, Online capabilities, bells and whistles and reliability. I will rank each of these from 1-10...1 being the lowest score.

Total Score...40 out of 50 or an 8 out of 10 overall

compared to the xbox 5/10 come on just a graphic boost? and all fps then you get the dreaded rrod

I had 2 xbox360 rroded on me, still I love my third elite and the games for it, I will give it a 8.5 out of 10.

A 10 I'm extremely happy with it and haven't had any issue. Although I'm happy with everything that I own, I guess I'm just easy to please.

6/10 Garbage hardware, overpriced DLC, pretty much no good exclusives, charge money for XBL yet no dedicated servers, HDD prices are a complete rip off, customer service sucks.

Neither do I. But that doesn't stop others from buying it in mass numbers.

well it plays games so i will give it a 7.5

5/10. It looses points for faulty hardware(2 points lost for that one), lack of MMOs, being the only system to charge for online, and having no wireless adaptor built in.

9.5 out of 10. The only reason it's not a 10 is because I think download content is too expensive.

I would have to give it at least a 9/10 because of the sheer variety and number of games for the 360 vs other platforms. I know you have to pay for gold but that is the price one has to pay for the best console out there. IMHO

I give the Xbox360 a solid 9.5. It has the exclusives that I like(Gears and Halo etc.), awesome controller, awesome online and all that jazz. The 0.5 that I took away is because of the console's reliability. Other than that it's pretty much the perfect console for me. Which leads me to this question: I don't own one since most of the time I would be playing on my friend's 360 but now I cannot take it anymore and really feel like buying it. Do you guys think now would be a good time to buy a 360? I heard Microsoft's gonnaannounce a new console in 2010, is it true? Do you guys think I should get a 360 now?

8.3/10. XboX Live ain't free and installing makes games slower, and at the same time you have to use the disk.
