Playing iPod over your 360?

anyone else know about this or have it cuz i couldnt find it when i looked

i play my ipod on occasion over my 360

all u need it the usb cord, for the ipod, that is, and connect it to one of the 360's ports

the only problem is that the 360 can only play 100 songs

That optional iPod support just has AAC codecs, so you can play (unprotected) iTunes stuff. If you use mp3s on your iPod you don't need it.

Unfortunately, a lot of the newer iPods (like the Touch) no longer work with the 360, period.

I use my iPod with my Xbox 360 from time to time. Not so much anymore since I just stream music from my computer through the network. I think if you plug in your iPod using the USB cable, it should just prompt you to download something on Xbox Live or just work right away.

i only have ipod shuffle. And the xbox 360 is way better thanipod games!

get a zune..... WORKS GREAT!! ZUNE FTW, i hate ipod's, but ya you should just be able to plug it in, the 360 should just read it as an external device

they need to come out with support for the iphone 3G. I find it lame that I can't play any of my music off my iphone. Anyway, thats how they make you buy that awesome mp3 player called the Zune*SARCASM*
