Need help defeating Titanfall 2's Viper boss battle

Hi guys. So I need help to defeat the Viper boss. Its kinda ridiculous that I have been playing the game on hard difficulty and generally found it easy but when it came to the Viper boss battle, i struggled. To make matters worse, I am still struggling despite changing the difficulty level to 'Easy'. Any tips to defeat this boss?

I played on hard too and had difficulty with a few of the bosses. Try to play as defensive as possible, let them come to you and when your shield is charging take cover.
