2k9 for the win. I liked the new features in NBA Live but I heard rumors that they charge you to get them.Pittfan666Actually, they do unless you buy a brand new copy of the game. The DNA 365 is free with new copies of the game, gives you a voucher to DL it. But if you buy the game used, then you have to pay $20(Not sure how many MS points that is) to get the feature.
I've always gotten the Live games.......just when I decided to go with 2K, Live '09 gets a good rating.....now I'm torn again. Maybe I'll demo each of them & decide from there.
One more thing.. The AI is so much better in 2k9 then NBA Live 09. I just preffer a basketball game that makes defense a MUST for winning, also alot more strategy is needed imo. Live definatly is slowely improving though. This might be the first year in awhile that i buy both basketball games. But 2k9 ill get on day 1 but NBA Live 09 ill rent and buy later maybe.
I just want realism in my basketball games, so 2k9 got the preorder

Are you SERIOUS? I have to say, I really disagree with all this crap that is happening....If i buy a game, I own the game. and if I want to sell it, or trade it, thats MY business.

Not true and never has been. When you buy a game you buy a licence to use the software. You own none of the software (read game) on the disc and have absolutely no right to trade or sell it in any way. The games industry takes a softly softly approach to this so as not to hurt new game sales but trading software (or indeed dvd movies) in any way is not permitted at anything other than a new retail level. Look up the copyright notice on any game or dvd.

the fact of the matter is, you can sell your games BACK to companies, therefore it is not illegal, and if it is illegal, its not enforced. IF they are selling these games used in stores, then this should not be happening.
