Today my 360 has been freezing with static noise and now won't turn on. I'll be taking it back to GameStation for a new system but I want to keep my HDD which has all my game downloads and profiles on it.

Will GameStation let me keep the HDD?

Hmmm...I dont see why not. Make sure you let them know you want to keep the hd and they keep the other.

I acutally had the same dilemma not long ago and unfortunately in my case they did not let me keep my HDD. Eventually I just bought a memory stick and transfered all my game saves to that before sending back my broken 360.

The hard drive is a seperate piece of equipment. It's yours. If they demand it back tell them to pound sand.

Unless he bought a premium system, the hd is included.

Your not a victim of the Red Ring of Death!

Your incident is unique and looked at on a case-by-case basis, ask Microsoft.
