Microsoft's "NextBox" announcement, MGS 5 Exclusive with Hideo!

"At a surprise press conference at the Honolulu Park Hyatt late last night, Microsoft and Konami participated in a joint press conference that will undoubtedly send shockwaves throughout the gaming industry. Taking to the podium within the 4,109 seat "Papaya Press Pavilion", Microsoft's John Schappert and legendary game producer Hideo Kojima together announced the development of Microsoft's successor to the Xbox 360, now known to be the Microsoft "NextBox".

"We had planned to save this announcement for this year's E3" stated Schappert "but the guys at Blizzard kinda stole our thunder and besides, we couldn't think of a better time than now to reveal the TRUE future of gaming - The Microsoft NextBox." So why might Kojima be on hand for a Microsoft-themed press conference you ask? Schappert continued, "We're honored to make this announcement in conjunction with Hideo Kojima himself in order to reveal that our next console is being built from the ground up with one purpose in mind - to run the next title in the Metal Gear Solid series." To do this, the NextBox will contain four new proprietary processors known as the Super Elite Logarithmic Logic, or "SELL" processors."

C'mon guy's 4 1? You know that's April 1st, April Fool's Day? Personally I don't really like April Fool's Day jokes usually cause usually I'm inundated with so many its hard to tell what's real and what's not. But today has been an exception not too many have come my way so...

that was on GT as well, but there are many reasons suggesting it is an april fool. One , Hideo specifically said there would be no true MGS5 as Snake's story is over. it would have to be a dumb spinoff or a remake of a previous title like mgs4 with a few slight inhancements. two, on gt they mentioned the use of sell processors, but those are already being used in todays consoles, meaning the nextbox would not be an upgrade.
