im getting assassins creed because even though mass effect looks really good it seems to me that it looks like a knights of the old republic game and i dont like those kinds of rpgsmonkey2go
Because its made by the same people? So is Overlord the same as DiRT because they're made by the same dev? ME has real time combat.
both of these great games come out in november, so which one do you think will sell more and why are you going to buy it. im going with mass effect for the deeper gameplay and because it will change the way we look at games forever.DEEJOH2
I'll be buying both but hands down ME would be the best one out of the two.
Mass Effect. I'll be getting both, but I'm more excited for Mass Effect. It's being made by BioWare, the people who made KOTOR, and I don't think they're capable of making a bad RPG. Everything about it looks awesome. From the combat, to the dialogue, to what will probably be an amazingly deep story. I think Mass Effect will be up there with BioShock in terms of critical acclaim when it's released.
As for Assassin's Creed: My anticipation has really just gone down for the game since E3. Gameplay glitches aside, it looks pretty good, but not as revolutionary as I hoped it would be. It really just looks like an open-world Prince of Persia, which isn't necessarliy a bad thing, but still not what I had hoped for. Maybe the story will be really great, but Ubisoft's whole policy on the game is that they don't want to tell much about the story, so I can't get too excited for that aspect of the game, yet.
I suppose that as Assassin's Creed nears release and more info and later-build previews get released, my anticipation for the game will once again rise, but for now I have to recommend Mass Effect because my anticipation has only gone up, and I don't expect it to go anywhere else. Overall, I think Mass Effect will have the much more engaging story and will last much longer than Assassin's Creed, so it definitely gets my vote.
Every time we've seen Assassin's Creed shown live its been lackluster. Whether its bugs or crappy animation or whatever. So right now, that game hasn't really impressed me.
Mass Effect on the other hand constantly impresses me. I'm buying both but Mass Effect is miles ahead right now.
